Jessica Barden has been an English actress since 2017. The show continued to air until September 2008, at which point the Morton Family departed Coronation Street. In 2007 Barden made her debut on film in the comedy-drama Mrs Ratcliffe's Revolution. She played Pea on stage in Jerusalem which was a production of London's Royal Court Theatre. The production was later transferred to the Apollo Theatre West End.
