Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she took flute lessons and the harpsichord over three years. Her budget was supplemented with a student stipend as well as part-time employment. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy about her performances in comparison to the other students. She started to think about different options. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. The band did not make it to the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. After that, Lennox started working for her debut album as a solo artist Diva that was released in the year 1992. The album had a tremendous success both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. The C.D. is composed of Lennox's favourite blues, jazz and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The album is consisting of four tracks composed by Lennox. The E.P. is the companion album of her artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now, I'll let You go... It's also her debut independently-released album. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. The group went on during the 80s, to form the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career in 1992 with the release of Diva that featured several hit songs like Why as well as walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995.
